ROCKVILLE, Md. - The No. 7 Harford men's basketball team claimed its first MD JUCO Championship with an 83-76 victory over No. 1 Frederick on Wednesday. The Fighting Owls defeated the three top seeds in the tournament to claim the conference crown.
BALTIMORE - The top-seeded Frederick Cougars advanced to Wednesday's MD JUCO Championship Game with a semifinal win over No. 4 Baltimore City on Monday.

Frederick, Md- With its 96-91 win over Montgomery College on Tuesday night, the FCC men's basketball team secured the 2014-2015 Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference basketball championship. The crown marks FCC's first MD JUCO title in school history led by second year head coach Emonte Hill. The Cougars finish conference play at 11-3 and sit at 19-6 overall.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Another MD JUCO basketball star earned the NJCAA National Player of the Week honor. This week, Allegany's Billy Giles claimed the award for his efforts in games played between Dec. 1-7.
BEL AIR, Md. - A pair of standout hoopsters were named the MD JUCO Student-Athletes of the Month for their efforts in the month of November. Frederick's Tamyra Laws and Garrett's DeAndre Davis garnered the awards.
