2023-2024 Men's and Women's Cross Country Champions

BALTIMORE, MD (Nov. 27, 2023) – The Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference (Maryland JUCO) today announced the 2023-2024 Men’s and Women’s Cross Country All-Conference Teams and Champions.

The women’s top seven finishers that earned All-Maryland JUCO honors this year are: Morgan Jarell (Hagerstown) 22:25.50; Sophie Trimble (Harford) 22:36.90; Nhaikyia Smith (Howard) 22:47.00; Samantha Burns (Harford) 23:08.40; Emily Persuhn (Harford) 23:30.10; Natalie Kaminsky (Harford) 23:47.30, and Kellie Simon (Harford) 24:42.00.

The men’s top seven finishers and student athletes who medaled and earned All-Maryland JUCO honors are: Will Hanna-Leverett (CCBC Essex) 27:29.50; Thomas Bildheiser (Hagerstown) 28:15.30; Noah Schappell (Hagerstown) 28:26.80; Keynaud Randolph (CCBC Catonsville) 28:32.30; Jackson Mundey (Hagerstown) 28:53.40; Alan Tyo (Harford) 29:42.40, and Ryan Thibaudeau (Howard) 30:20.50.

Hagerstown’s Men’s Cross-Country team, coached by Mike Spinnler, secures the Men’s Maryland JUCO Championship. Members of the championship team include Thomas Bildheiser, Noah Schappell, Jackson Mundley. Emanuel Enow, Jake Scallion, Luke McLinster, and Garrett Mastronardi. Hagerstown finished with a total time of 2:28:42 and CCBC Catonsville finished as the runner-up with a total time of 2:41:07.

The 2023-2024 Maryland JUCO Men’s Cross-Country Coach of the Year award recipient is Hagerstown’s Mike Spinnler.
