TUSCON, Ariz. - The Harford women's tennis season ended at
the 2013 NJCAA Division I National Tournament. The Fighting Owls
will finish in 21st place with eight total points
scored.

Williams lost her second backdraw match on
Wednesday, 8-1. At No. 3 doubles along with Emilie
Keith, Williams lost 8-3 to conclude the tournament
for the Fighting Owls.
The Fighting Owls won five matches at this year's
tournament. Alex
Cox won her first match at No. 2 singles and
then won the first doubles match at No. 2 along
with Erika
Richardson. Shelby
Mink picked up a win at No. 6 singles
on day
one, as well. On
Tuesday, Williams earned a gutsy win at No. 5 singles
backdraw, playing with a sprained ankle. She then won at No. 3
doubles with Keith in the backdraw.
The Fighting Owls and head coach George
Budelis conclude the season with a 4-9 record
and the five wins at the national tournament.
