ABERDEEN, Md. - Allegany College and sophomore Jake Bond were the big winners at the 2013 MD JUCO Golf Championships, held at the Ruggles Golf Course in Aberdeen, Md., on Thursday.
Bond was the individual winner, carding an even-par 72 on the course. His teammate, Joe MacAuly, came in second with a 75.
Frederick's Jimmy Blumenauer came in third (78), followed by Hagerstown's Matt Snowden (80) and Anne Arundel's Ryan McVey (81).
The Trojans four-man team score of 321 bested runner-up Southern Maryland (342). Cecil came in third at 355, followed by Harford (358) and Hagerstown (376).
Cecil's Chris Johnson opened the All-MD JUCO Second Team with a sixth-place finish (81), followed by Southern Maryland's Eric Ryon (83) and George Bowie (83). Alex Healy of Cecil (83) and Casey Nicholson from Hagerstown was 10th with an 84.
