FREDERICK, Md. - The Frederick Cougars baseball team has had another magical regular season and the nation is starting to take notice.

The 2014 season has produced head coach Rodney Bennett's 400th career victory and the team has been ranked in the national poll virtually all season, including a season-best No. 2 ranking last week.

This week, the Cougars check in at No. 4 in the NJCAA Division II National Coaches Poll with their 43-8 record.

The team finished the regular season with a 20-6 MD JUCO record, tying for the league's best mark with Cecil. 

Frederick will host the 2014 NJCAA DII Region XX Championships this weekend.
