Maryland JUCO Names Consoletti, McHugh Lacrosee Athletes of the Month

BALTIMORE -- The Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference (Maryland JUCO) has selected Owen Consoletti (men's lacrosse) and Keeley McHugh (women's lacrosse) as its Lacrosse Athletes of the Month for March 2019.  

Consoletti (Harford Community College |Oak Park H.S.) 

The Thousand Oaks, Calif. native scored 24 goals in seven games and added seven assists and 19 ground balls in the first month of the season. He had multiple-goal performances in six of seven games, helping Harford to go 7-0 in March. Consoletti had a goal and two assists against Onondaga (March 2), leading the Fighting Owls to a 12-8 win, the Lazers first since 2016. He had two six-goal games (March 12 vs. Williamson Trade, March 30 vs. Union County College) and a five-goal game (March 22 vs. Howard) during the month as well.

McHugh (Harford Community College |Bel Air H.S.)

In four games in March, McHugh scored 17 goals and had 11 assists. She was the guiding force to the Fighting Owls earning its first No. 1 NJCAA ranking in program history. She scored a career-high seven goals against Anne Arundel (March 20), including three assists. In the team's 19-14 win over Onondaga (March 22), McHugh tallied four goals and four assists.
