BALTIMORE -- The NJCAA Region XX Division I Men's and Women's Tournament seeds and schedules have been announced and first round play will begin tomorrow.

On the men's side, No. 1 seed CCBC Essex (13-5, 11-1 Region XX) and No. 2 Frederick Community College (13-3-1, 11-1-1) have earned first round byes.

No. 4 Harford Community College (7-8-1, 3-3-1) will host No. 5 CCBC Catonsville (5-9-2, 4-7-2) tomorrow at 11 a.m. The winner will play CCBC Essex in the semifinals on Oct. 26 at 6 p.m.

No. 3 College of Southern Maryland (6-6-1, 6-6-1) hosts No. 6 Hagerstown Community College (8-11, 5-8) tomorrow at 12 p.m. That winner will play Frederick on Oct. 26 at 4 p.m.

The men's final will be on Oct. 29 at 1:30 p.m.

There are three women's teams entered in the regional tournament. 

No. 1 seed Harford (12-2) will have a bye and play in the championship game after going 7-1 in Region XX this season. 

No. 2 CCBC Essex (9-6-1, 5-3) plays No. 3 College of Southern Maryland (8-6, 3-5) in the semifinal on Oct. 27 at 4 p.m. The winner plays Harford at 11 a.m. on Oct. 29.

The semifinal and final rounds will be played at CCBC Dundalk, hosted by CCBC Catonsville.
