BALTIMORE (December 21, 2016) – The Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference (Maryland JUCO) today announced Joe Fiedler and John LaRocca (men's soccer), Phillip Nana (women's soccer), Ashley Wolfe and Beth Domenico (volleyball), Steve Musselman (men's cross country), and Jim Griffiths (women's cross country) as its 2016 fall Maryland JUCO Conference Coaches of the Year.
Men's Soccer
Fiedler (CCBC Essex) and LaRocca (Frederick Community College) share the honor in men's soccer after each led his team to 11-1 Maryland JUCO records and were conference co-champions.
Women's Soccer
Nana (Montgomery College) guided the Raptors to an undefeated season (8-0) in conference, including five wins on the road.
Volleyball
Wolfe (College of Southern Maryland) and Domenico (Hagerstown Community College) are Co-Coaches of the Year, leading their respective teams to a 10-1 record in conference.
Cross Country
Musselman's (Howard Community College) squad won the Maryland JUCO men's title with 29 points, and Griffiths' (Anne Arundel Community College) team took home the women's title with 37 points.
